Long-Term Goal Statement: To get my Associate Degree in Accounting and go back to Wells, Nevada and work for my tribe. Mid-Term Goal Statement: To stay keep up with study and not fail. Short Term Goal Statement: Understand how to deal with professors and keep up with my homework and reading.

Narrative Statement: (How will your life look when you have achieved this long-term goal? This
will help you determine relevance and establish motivation.) Ive worked during my High School years, went to college at BYU for 2 semester and worked the last 36 years of my life before I started to pursue my education again. So, starting my education is a challenge at the age of 57. I have to motivate and discipline my mind to study. So, I have to challenge myself to 2 years of school to get my degree. When I do complete, I hope I will have a job lined up to go back to work for my tribe in Nevada.

What obstacles will you need to overcome or what are you willing to sacrifice to achieve your long-term goal? (This step will help you determine achievability.) I had to sacrifice a job I worked at for 24 years to pursue my education and get a degree.

I deserve this goal because: (This step will help you bolster your motivation.) 1. I want a degree 2. I want to be able to complete something in my life.
