Review star -Conflict discussion pictures -Tamika and Dawn story (p. 71) Procedure: -Introduce STAR problem solving: Stop, think, act, review. -Stop: Why do we need to stop? What does this allow us to do? -Think: What kind of things do we need to think of? (consequences, alternatives) -Act: Make a decision of what you think is the most positive choice, and put it into action -Review: Did it work the way you wanted it to? Do you need to try something different? -Read story of Tamika & Dawn and discuss using questions on the paper. -Practice problem solving using conflict discussion pictures
