County Executive to Participate in County Clerk Swearing-in

Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy will speak at an historic swearing-in ceremony at the Watervliet Elks Lodge tomorrow. For the first time in 25 years, Albany County will have a new County Clerk. Bruce Hidley will be sworn in at the Watervliet Elks Lodge, 501 4th Avenue, Watervliet at 5 pm on Friday, December 27. Hidley has served as the Watervliet City Clerk for over 22 years and has been a member of the Watervliet Elks Lodge for over 30 years. Retiring County Clerk Thomas Clingan will bring the official book for Hidley to sign and witness the swearing-in of his successor.
