I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Levanto os olhos at s altas montanhas, e pergunto: Donde me vir socorro? O socorro vir-me- do Senhor, que o Criador dos cus e da Terra.

He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps [you] will neither slumber nor sleep.

Ele no deixar que tropeces e caias. Est atento tua vida; no corre o risco de dormitar e se esquecer de ti! No, de maneira nenhuma deixar que o sono lhe pese nas plpebras; no adormecer nem pela fadiga, nem pela incria.

The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

Porque aquele que te guarda o prprio Senhor! Est sempre to presente ao teu lado como a tua prpria sombra. Ser o teu defensor, tanto de dia como de noite.

The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.

Protege-te de todo o mal; guarda a tua alma. Presta ateno quando entras, quando sais; sabe tudo o que fazes hoje, amanh e sempre!
