AGRICULTURE Competition

MARCOTTING/GRAFTING
a. b. c. d. e. f. There will be one contestant per group either male or female. Materials will be provided by the host school. Draw lots will be used in assigning the plants or stocks. Contestants will perform one after the other based on their assigned number. Contestant who accidentally cut his finger is disqualified. Ranking system will be used in determining the winner based on their speed and workmanship. g. Contestant with the least (lowest) rank accumulated wins the contest.

ESTIMATION OF LIVE WEIGHT (chicken)

a. There will be one contestant per group either male or female. b. Contestant will estimate the weight of chicken with his/her bare hands one after the other. c. Estimate will be written in sheet of paper using kilogram as the unit of weight. d. Contestant with the least difference of estimate from the real weight of the chicken will be the winner.

Fertilizer computation
a. b. c. d. e. f. g. There will be one contestant per group either male or female. Contestant can use calculator in solving the problem. Answers without corresponding units will be considered wrong. Problems will be solved within the prescribed time. Final answer must be encircled. Problems to be solved are related to rice production. Answer sheet will be provided to each contestant.

Identification of external parts of goat

a. b. c. d. e. f. g. There will be one contestant per group either male or female. Contestant will identify the parts of a goat one after the other. Contestant will be provided with an answer sheet except for ballpen. Misspelled answer is considered wrong. Identifying parts will be done in a given time. Contestant with the highest score is the winner. In case of tie, questions in relation to goat production will be asked to break the tie.
