Athletes are leaders. They continually strive to be the best, but also know that in order for them to the best those around them need to excel beyond the
average Joe. A true athlete is a leader because they know each of their teammates beyond what any other person outside of their team will know. Teammates share both their strengths and their weaknesses. The leaders are the ones who know how to strengthen even the weakest of the weak. Athletes are passionate. As an athlete progresses from elementary school

to middle school to high school and beyond, they hone in their skills and choose which sport they want to stick with for the rest of their lives. Once this process is
done, the athlete builds a strong bond with the sport. Never missing a practice,
