Understanding chemistry hel7s understand ho8 the 8orld 8or%s. Coo%ing, 8ashing clothes and hair, and cleaning are all chemistry. Everything you can touch or taste or smell is a chemical. 9hen you study chemistry, you come to understand a 'it a'out ho8 things 8or%. Chemistry is the e17lanation for 8hy laundry detergents 8or% 'etter at a certain tem7erature, 8hy different 7ain medications do not 8or% e:ually 8ell on a headaches and ho8 road salt can destroy your car.
