Circular Sub:- Admission Procedure Ph.D. programmes Reg. The procedure for admissions into Ph.D. programmes for the academic year 2011-12 is given below: 1. Release of notification about admissions into Ph.D. programmes and advertising the same in national level news papers and electronic media. 2. Display of relevant information in the website of Vignan University like applications for Ph.D. programmes, eligibility criterion for Ph.D. admissions, admission procedure etc. 3. Sending Ph.D. applications by the request of candidates or to see the availability of applications on University website. 4. Inviting the applicants for certificates verification and conducting written test 5. Conducting an interview for the qualified candidates to assess subject knowledge, research inclination etc. 6. Selection of candidates for Ph.D. programmes based on the (a) mutual interest of scholar and guide (b) work experience for part-time programme.
