Come to class EVERDAY: 9 absences = failure for the semester. No excuses or appeals except for serious illness. All make-up work must be completed within 10 days or you will receive a ZERO for that assignment. Respect the Classroom: You will be working with expensive equipment in this class. It is important that we take care of the equipment. Follow all instructions and act responsibly. You will be held accountable for damages to any equipment while it is in your care. NO FOOD OR DRINKS NO CELL PHONES while in my class. I expect that all cell phones to be on silent and put away in your backpacks while in class. If I see or hear your cell phone I will take it away and you will no get it back until the end of the school day. Second offense: you and your phone will be sent to your Dean. This is not only my rule but a PVMHS rule. We do rely on the use of computers for this class. You are to only be using the computers for classwork and ONLY for classwork. Any and all work done outside the classroom is subject to both school and classroom rules. There is to be no yelling, disruption of other classes (including peeking through windows and waving at friends), no socializing with students in other classes, and under no circumstances will you be permitted to leave school property. Follow all directions during EVACUATIONS AND LOCKDOWNS: During evacuations it is important to stay with the class. If you do become separated you MUST find me to check-in. CLEAN UP after yourself: We share this computer lab with 6 other classes. It is important that you be respectful of other students and teachers that use the lab. Be sure that you save all your work, close out of all programs, and log off at the end of each class. All materials should be put away and we should leave the room neat and clean. Extra Help: I am available for extra help every Wednesday after school from 1:502:45. However, I do understand that at times there can be scheduling conflicts and I will make every effort to be available on a day that is more convenient.
