Education for Success Scholarship Foundation
Foundation Description:
The Education for Success Scholarship Foundation provides a multifaceted
experience designed to not only address the financial needs of high school seniors who
aspire to attend college but also to guide them through the process of higher education, and
molding them into dynamic leaders with a commitment to public service. The award is
given to outstanding high school graduates who plan to earn an associate or baccalaureate
degree from an accredited institution of higher education. As a result of our efforts,
increasing numbers of students will be able to attend the colleges and universities of their
choice where they are poised to develop their academic skills and leadership talents.

Eligibility
To be eligible for an Education for Success Scholarship, an applicant must:

Be a graduating, high school senior;

Plan to attend an accredited and approved two-year or fouryear institution

within the United States;

Show leadership potential;

Demonstrate a dedication to community service;

Present evidence of financial need;

Be a United States citizen;

GPA 2.5 or higher

Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4year College when applying for the
scholarship.

Education for Success Scholarship Foundation
Scholarship Award
Through its Education and Leadership Development Program, the Education for
Success Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships of up to $1,000 annually to high
school students showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need to attend
an accredited 4-year college or university of their choice.

Application Components
The required components of the Education for Success Scholarship Foundation
application are:
A completed application
Official high school transcript
Proof of U.S. citizenship
Essay 250 Word
Choose one of the following questions:
-How will this scholarship help you meet your educational and career
goals?
-Why I need this scholarship?
-What are your most important extracurricular or community
activities? What made you join these activities? What made you
continue to contribute to them?

Official Fall Semester 2014 Course Schedule

Financial Aid Report (to show proof of financial need)
At least (1) letter of Recommendation from a Community Leader or
Organization (where you have completed community service)

Timeline:
Application/Documents Deadline: June 13, 2014
Scholar (s) Announcement: June 30, 2014
Award Ceremony: July 12, 2014 at 3:00pm (Tentative Location: Hadley Park
Community Center)
We will accept the Education for Success Foundation Scholarship application
and supporting documents via mail or email. If the application is incomplete or
missing any required documents the packet will not be reviewed and will be returned
