What are lifespan activities, and how are they integrated into todays curriculum?

Lifespan activities are activities that have been added into secondary curriculums and are continuing to grow. Lifespan activities are usually individual or dual activities that can be used for a lifetime and not just in school. They have been integrated into todays curriculum by the Lifetime Sports Education Project which was sponsored by AAHPERD (Shape America).

What is the value of lifespan activities and sports?

The value of lifespan activities and sports is crucial to this society because it gives students a chance to participate in activities outside of school, to stay active, and get into a routine where these activities become apart of their everyday lives. Most of these activities are sports that are offered at high schools and colleges. Sports can be a major part of many peoples lives. In our society some people make a living through sports.
