Creatively, powerfully, and insightfully utilizes and integrates sources. Demonstrates a deep understanding of a variety of sources. Authors voice in clear command over that of sources. Sources support and connect to issue and argument. Uses a variety of sources as well as those of different viewpoints. Authors voice clearly present. Utilizes at least eight reliable outside sources that pertain to the issue and argument. Incorporates two essays from World. Equal balance between source material and authors voice. Utilizes irrelevant sources. Does not relate sources to issue and/or argument. Source ideas and quotes outnumber authors voice. Lacks adequate sources or is comprised mostly of source material.
