Double page spread

From my mood board of rock/pop magazine double page spreads you can see that each page is aesthetically pleasing to the audience the colour schemes all use synergy by linking colours throughout the magazine. From the Q magazine we can see synergy is used by putting a drop capital on one whole side of the page which somehow links to the artist. On most of these double page spreads the images or writing bleeds across the pages which is a common convention of all double page spreads. All the double page spreads have one large masthead to attract the reader to the article. Most of the pages have little writing to avoid putting the reader off, however they have a very large image which is common on all pages this will help attract the audience more. A common feature is that the articles are in columns keeping the page neat and easy to navigate around. On my double page spread I will also follow this convention.
