Project work to be incorporated into Brainwave/Hotline (or their equivalent) schedules. (possibly 1 or 2 per register) A series of classes based around the theme of Indonesia as a longer reaching project, but equally defined as separate classes on varying topics. Incorporating flora and fauna, science, environmental issues, the past, the future etc Target - to create fun and interesting, off-syllabus classes - to use language and vocabulary skills which complement course requirements, but also introduce more specific and diverse language points. - To incorporate various teaching methods and approaches and encouraging group dynamics and communication - Such as audio/visual, creative and artistic, role play, science and experiments, sense based learning (touch, taste etc), field trips

Egs. - Simulate a tsunami, volcano, earthquake(science) - Create batik (art), Bali Dragons - Making traditional food - Translate anthem (sing, actions) - Look at Indonesias past (colonialism, trade make a sailboat) - Spices (interactive, senses) - Flora and fauna (wallacea, endangered species, palm oil, camouflage exp.) - Java Man (history) - Hindu/Buddhist, Islam, Christianity (multi-cultural, Sanskrit, dance, art)
