About Pythagoras
Pythagoras was a famous Greek mathematician in geometry. I decided to find out why he was so famous and why his solution to a math problem still is useful today.
He studied with Egyptians who taught him geometry, the Phoenicians taught him math calculations, Chaldeans taught him astronomy (the study of the stars).
The sum of the areas of the two squares on the legs (a and b) equals the area of the square of the hypotenuse
