I am a Scientist Now
Group of year seven girls from Asquith Girls have set the world record for the most done in one term. This group of special girls call themselves 7F. Here is some of the stuff they did this term: The Particle Theory and solid. Solids have compacted atoms causing it to be hard to bend using your hands. Liquids arent as compact but still takes up a curtain about of space Hot Air Balloons In class the 7F fabulouses that are the students made hot air balloon type things out of tissue paper, straws, masking tape and scissors. You might be thinking how they made these hot air balloons well here are a picture of the amazing creations:

States of Matter 7F have been studying the states or laws of matter including gas, liquid which is why water fits to the space of the container. Gas atoms try and get the furthest away from each other and gas does not have a curtain space or shape. explained Charlotte from 7F. Density With density we did an experiment with pumas and water and even though the pumas is a rock it floats because of all the air bubbles in the rock which causes it to be less dense. This also happens with ice. answered Darcey a member of the 7F class. Female Scientists It is important to notice the contribution of our female scientists in our daily live especially as the 7F class are all girls. Encouraging them to think of their future in science.

Graphing The amazeballs from 7F have fantastically completed a test on graphing in 10 minutes. Here is what one of the amazeballs said after the test. I feel I did really well on the test and am proud of how everyone else did. The test was two graphs (one which the had to set out themselves) which they had to find differences from.

Writing Up a Experiment Planning an experiment takes time and

paper. It starts off with the aim such as boiling water or eating yogurt. Next comes the hypothesis as in the hotter the flame the quicker it will heat the water. Next the equipment list. This needs to include everything you use during your experiment. Next comes the risk assessment. This includes every risk including solutions of how to lower the risks. Next the method. The method has to be able to read clearly and each step must be on a separate numbered line. Next the results. (The record of the happenings.) Then discussion and the conclusion. It is important to discuss and share information. Learning from piers is fun. said Diana.
