    Chapter 3 Research Methodology

    This chapter presents the research design, respondents, research instrument, and the treatment of the data.

    Research Design In this study, the researchers used the descriptive method. The design is used because this method is applicable to this study to able to compare and explain the results.

    According to Acero and Leuterio (2006), state that a descriptive study describes and interprets it. It is concerned with conditions or relationships that exist, opinions that are held, processes that are going on, and effects that are evident, trends that are developing. It is primarily concerned with the present, although it often considers past events and influences as they relate to current conditions. Descriptive method is use in this research because it describes and answers the question concerning the effect of watching comedy television show on social relationship of elementary students.
