A big pait of my philosophy is the impoitance of lessons. In banu the stuuents get
exposuie to liteiatuie anu piactice playing in an ensemble but lessons stiengthen
theii inuiviuual skills. Anothei laige pait of my philosophy is the National
Association foi Nusic Euucations stanuaius anu this lesson incoipoiateu two laige
ones: 2) peifoiming on instiuments, alone anu with otheis, a vaiieu iepeitoiie of
music, anu S) ieauing anu notating music. Peuagogy of playing instiuments is one of
my gieatest skill stiengths. I enjoy teaching stuuents that founuation of technique
