Because they know they will receive absolute top notch housing and employment assistance. They know they will be treated like real persons, by dedicated, compassionate veteran-minded professionals in a warm, caring environment. Operating since 2012, Veterans Housing & Employment Assistance provides a spectrum of supportive services to veterans, ranging from housing, employment, job training through health care and mental health assistance. Since our incorporation, Veterans Housing & Employment Assistance has touched the lives of hundreds of veterans in need. We exist to serve veterans, providing housing, employment, hope, healing and recovery. We have a record of high quality service provision and activism related to economic security and community engagement and we invite you to become a part of our team.

Veterans Housing & Employment Assistance

Most recently weve housed more veterans, removing them from the crippling darkness of homelessness into the life-giving light of housing and meaningful employment. Those of us who have been with the organization for some time have found its work to be some of the most rewarding we have ever experienced. We are confident that you will enjoy being a part of it too. The purposes of Veterans Housing & Employment Assistances Board of Directors are to: 1. Provide careful and responsible general advice on the overall operations of the organization, particularly as it relates to governance; acting in the organization's best interest; 2. Governing the organization participating in the development of policy and major decision-making at board meetings, establishing broad policies and objectives; 3. Selecting, appointing, supporting and reviewing the performance of the chief executive; 4. Ensuring the availability of adequate financial resources; 5. Approving annual budgets; 6. Accounting for the organization's performance; setting salaries and compensation; 7. Directing, organizing, and implementing fundraising campaigns. Specific goals for this year include developing a strategy to keep housing as many veterans as possible, and to provide employment and health assistance for veterans in need. As you can see, we are expecting the board to be an active one. We hope you will join us. I would appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and to consider being a part of Veterans Housing & Employment Assistance's Board of Directors.
