Title of Artifact: Lesson Plan

Explain why you chose this artifact as your best representation of this particular INTASC standard. The Lesson Plan assignment met standard number 10, which was Leadership and Collaboration; the way this standard was met was that this assignment allowed my group and I to take a leadership role in the classroom. We showed our class something they wanted to know about and they were involved in the discussions which I believe helped them actually pay attention to what was happening in the lesson.

Reflection: What I learned about teaching in education through this assignment was that every lesson plan is different and all teachers do them differently. When writing the lesson plan I noticed it was difficult to word the way I wanted it. Although I enjoyed getting a chance to be a teacher in a way I was also nervous and felt as though I messed up a few times on the assignment.
