HAZARD IDENTIFICATION* WHO MIGHT BE HARMED? CONTROL MEASURES


• All hand tools to be fit for their purpose
• Cuts-Personnel injury Operatives • Operatives to be trained in their use
• Only use the right tool for the job
• All sharp blades to be guarded when not
in use. Disposal blades to be changed as
required, and disposed of correctly.
• Tools not in use to be stored in suitable
sufficient container
• Slips –Trips & Falls Operatives – workers adjacent
• Work area to kept clear of trip hazards at
all times. Store tools that are not in use.
• PPE to be worn when required dependant
on task and location and may include but
not limited to the following:
o Safety Glasses
o Safety Footwear
o Gloves
