The source mentions her family, achievements and her major works. It makes brief reference to the short story Girl and it does provide an insight to the background information used to produce the story. In addition, the source presents an overview of Kincaids career through 2000. In comparison to the other sources provided, it definitely helps give me enough information to provide the reader of my paper with her background information. It is an objective source that describes Kincaids life from early childhood on up. It will be helpful in writing my paper because I want to give the reader as much biographical information as possible so they can compare her life with her major works, which in this case would be Girl.

entirety. Before the story begins, the author adds a little bit of Jamaicas background that includes information on her past works and her personal life. In comparison to my other sources, this is one of the best. I say that because without this source, it would be difficult for me to analyze the story. The source is objective and doesnt not show any signs of being biased. It will be essential to my paper because most of quotes will come straight from the story and a few points that touch on Kincaids biography will come fro m the segment in the book.

The main points in the source are the biography and the language used by Kincaid throughout her story. Biographical information provided in this particular source is very helpful because it includes her background as well as her achievements and other works. The article makes reference to the rhythm and repetition which adds to the quality of the story. The topic of how stern the mother is speaking and the issue of sexism is also mentioned in the source. In comparison to my other sources, this source helps me analyze the language and gives me biographical insight to author. The source, like the above mentioned source, doesnt seem to be biased. It informs me of the authors background as well as an analysis of Kincaid. It will be helpful while writing my paper because it gives biographical information that is necessary in my research paper.

The main points in this source are the plot, the summary & the characters, but most importantly the plot. In the section titled Plot, it goes into detail about how the story is constructed and breaks down certain points in the story. The Character portion of the source analyzes the play by play of each event taking place. The source also mentions the characters and the important roles they play throughout the story. In comparison to my other sources, this source breaks down one specific piece of information that is essential to my paper. It is objective and doesnt appear to be biased at all. The goal of the source is to provide me with the plot and an analysis of characters which it does briefly but clearly. This source will help me write my paper by explaining the plot in such detail that will allow me to analyze the plot in an effective manner.
