Licensed by the state of Massachusetts Insured by the Adults & Childrens Alliance. Pediatric CPR & First Aid kept current at all times. (renewed annually) Emergency preparedness plan in place, and fire drills are done monthly. In partnership with Child Development and Education Inc.(CDE) Separate quiet nap room with limited distractions. Back to sleep practices used to help prevent SIDS. Infants under 6 months will be under constant direct supervision during nap time Older infants and toddlers will be checked on in no more than 15min. intervals. (We have a chair in the room for someone to remain during entire nap time) 10. All childrens gums & teeth will be brushed or wiped down to prevent tooth decay after lunch time, or after 4hrs of care.(unless non participation form is signed by parent) 11. Certified & Regular Assistants in place to reduce chance of closure. (Due to sickness, trainings, etc.) CDE also has a network of providers who provide back-up care if needed. 12. Progress reports will be created on each child (every 3 months for infants 6 months for toddlers) with opportunity for a conference to discuss contents of report if requested. 14. Daily reports for Infants and Toddlers provided to parents to help promote communications between provider and parent. 18. Meals and Snacks provided that follow USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program Guidelines. Seasonal menu provided to parents. 19. All infants are held while being fed. 20. Yearly visits are conducted by EEC to ensure quality and safety, and to verify regulations are being followed. 21. Monthly home visits are performed by the Child and Adult Care Food Program for verification of compliance, training, support, guidance and technical assistance. 22. A minimum of 10hrs of professional training and development are completed each year. 23. In collaborations with state agencies such as EEC, DTA, DSS, LICSW etc. 24. Access to CDEs own Mental Health Clinic Division 25. Free consultations services available from a team of Social Workers (LICSW)
