Breakdown of Event: Songs: (Kindergarten): 1. Hello Song (English, Spanish, Khmer) 2. Papaya 3. Kye Kye Kole (Ghana song) (1st Grade): 1. Los Dias de la Semana (Steven Comers class) 2. Funga Alafia (Knapps Class) 3. Yo, Yo, Yo (small group of kids) (Rawlins Class) (Finale): Tarzan Dance Program: (starts at 1:15pm) Introduction (Talking Points): Welcome everyone to Where in the World Are Your feet. Our show today features our kindergarten and first grade students from the entire school. For the past couple of months the students and I, have had explored the world right in our classes. What song will all the kindergarten classes be performing first today Emily? (Lardieris class) Hello Song What languages do we sing in our Hello song Laura? (Clugstons class)

Hello Song: Sing in English, Spanish, Khmer Transition (Everyone stand up): The next piece we will be singing is called Papaya, Christian (Lardieris class) where is Papaya from? (Cambodia) and what language do they speak there (Bryce) ? (Khmer) great! Here is Papaya! Papaya Song: Sing Papaya Transition (Students will remain standing) Justin before we bring up the 1st graders what is our final song called? (Che Che Kule) and where is this song from? (Ghana) T: This time when we sing this song, who can tell me in the audience what echo means? (ask student to say repeat after) We will sing Che Che Kule first as a class, then we would like the audience to join us the second time we sing it! Kye Kye Kule Song: Sing through 1st time with class Sing through 2nd time with audience

Transition: (Ks will sit back down around the parameter. Lardieri/ Warchola/ Clugston/ Vorhees- going back in this order) 1st Grade 1. Funga Alafia 2. Los dias La semana 3. Yo, Yo, Yo (small group of students: Ella, Michael, Lewis, Shania, Kyler, Donte, Ella, Ava, David R, Shakkera, Amonnie ) 4. Everyone (Everybodys Welcome) all first graders will come up Great next up to present our 1st grade class and our first song is Alex from Mrs. Knapps Class Lead the class (With my mind I greet you, with my speech, I greet you, with my heart I love you) Go back to your spots and wait for the drums (Mrs. Hall-Carney) At the end of each phrase they will come together and touch their partners hands and then turn around and spin. Dont cross the green tape In my mind I greet, with my speech, I greet you, with my heart I love you) Sing through Funga Alafia three more times. (Ashay x5) on the end we are going to sing Ashay ashay until everyone is seated. Going from the back Ashay Ashay sit down Ashay Ashay sit down (until everyone is down) Once students sit down they will move back to their seating positions (off the stage) While they are moving back to their seating Stevens/ Comer 1st grade will come and Ciani will come up and introduce our next song. (Ciani- Our next song is Los Dias de la semama) Good job Ciani! Each day of the week the students play different instruments to represent each day. Enjoy! Los Dias de la Semana: Sing Los Dias de la Semana (with instruments) Me: Great job Mrs. Stevens/ Comers class! Our next selection for today is Yo, Yo, Yo a song from Ghana that looks at the respect between a child and her elders. This song will feature a special group of students (call up students to sit in a circle) (Ella, Michael, Lewis, Shania, Kyler, Shakerra, Donte, Ella, Ava, David R., Amonnie ) Sing Yo, Yo ,Yo

Finally Ella will lead us into Everybodys welcome! (Ella will come up and sit in the front with me) Rawlins class will already be sitting

Oh Mrs. Knapps class (will be the first students to join into the patting and clapping and singing) Oh Mrs. Stevens/ Comer will be next and they will join in the singing. Finally Students will say Oh Kindergarten and they will stand up. (Come along and sing) After that song is over we will go into the finale: Tarzan dance: Students will stay in their rows! They will all stand up after Everybodys welcome (Introduction by) Cathrine (S/C), DaKota (K), Sadie (V), Kimora (W) They will say: Our last and final piece is Tarzan!! We have prepared a special dance for you! Hope you enjoy it! Do Tarzan Dance. END (Students end with falling on the floor from the song) Closing remarks: Thank you so much for coming and we hope you enjoyed the show!
