Web. 18 Feb. 2014. This research paper is focused on the benefits of being a gymnast. The author believes that gymnastics benefits a person. He describes his belief in three categories: a) physical, b) psycho-social, and c) miscellaneous. Gymnastics builds a persons strength through physical activity. Gymnasts develop their strength by using their own body rather than artificial weights and machines. This is a healthier way to develop fitness. Gymnasts are often more social people and arent afraid to preform in front of people. Studies used in this paper show that gymnasts are more likely to be the first to raise their hand in class and participate. The miscellaneous category discusses things only gymnasts learn. Gymnasts learn to fall without injuring themselves and are good at both static and dynamic balance. Gymnasts are the smallest athletes, and gymnastics is a reasonably safe sport. He backs up his belief with numerous charts. Each of his points is strong and
