Pottermore

3/25/14

1. Favorite scene overall:
My favorite scene would have to be where Dobby is set free by Harry because it is nice to
see him released from all the mistreatment.
2. Favorite character and the scene which best exemplifies that character and your approval:
My favorite character is Minerva McGonagall. This is because she is stern with her ways
yet she has deep concern for people.
3. Least favorite character and the scene which best typify that character and your dislike:
My least favorite character is Lucius Malfoy because of how he mistreated dobby and
also because of the fact that he tried to remove Dumbledore from head of the school.
4. Favorite line of dialogue: It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more
than our abilities Dumbledore. I admire this quote because it is quite accurate in
regards to real life.
5. Favorite description of either a person, place, or thing: My favorite description would
have to be of the famous Hogwarts Sorting Hat.
6. Favorite event: My favorite event is when Harry, Ron, and Hermione all take a potion to
make themselves appear as Slytherines in order for them to eavesdrop on Malfoy.
7. Favorite use of language by the author, J.K. Rowling: My favorite language by the author
is in Chapter
8. Whether the strangeness of the division of Muggle World/ Hogwarts worked for you as
a reader: I feel as though the division between the two worlds made the story that more
exciting.
9. If the story progression flows well for you and why: The story progression flows in my
opinion because every event that takes place corresponds with the events that follows or
happens previously to it.
10. If the conclusion is satisfactory for you as a reader and why: The conclusion is indeed
satisfactory to me. This is because the antagonist is of course defeated (for the mean
time) and dobby the elf is set free. Also, everything else comes to a happy ending which
leaves most readers happy as well.
