Artful Scavenger Hunt for the Senses

1. Go see the Kaddatz Gallery Exhibition of Charles Beck woodcuts, and the
Public/Private Collaborative by Moorhead, Perham and Minnewaska High
Schools with Su Legatt at Kaddatz Gallery from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find the
Woodcut of a tree by Charles Beck and the Polaroid selfi booth.
2. Discover various Street Art around Fergus Falls and on the River Walk. seek
and find three hidden aerosol art graffiti pieces downtown. Examples
include: the small grey cat on the stairs that lead into Body, Mind, Spirit Yoga,
and Dirty Harry above Don Pablos and Fish mural behind Communicating
for Agriculture Building Dragonfly near entrance to City Halls Council
Chambers. Take a picture with them.
3. Sit down along the river walk, and listen to the sounds.
a. Describe what you hear here:

b. Rub your hand along whatever you sat on.
c. Now take a rubbing of it using the enclosed paper and charcoal.
4. Check out Charles Beck "Come Unto Me" sculpture above the door to the
education wing at Bethlehem Lutheran Church
5. Go see Kirk Williams Creation sculpture at Pioneer Care Center
Chapel/Celebration Center on South Mabelle.
6. Collect some grass and dirt. Place in bag.
7. Find the two Steve Jaenisch sculptures outside FF Fire Station on East
Washington, geese in flight outside OTCHS Museum and mimic their pose.
8. Draw a chalk box on Lincoln Ave.
a. Invite someone to dance with you for a minute to your favorite song.
b. Write your favorite quote next to the box
9. Tell a joke to someone and giggle loudly whether its funny or not.
10. Find one empty storefront downtown. What do you think should go there?

11. Find at least four downtown businesses that have Art, or Music, on their
signs. Write their names down:
