As a principal I believe that developing the necessary cultural conditions for learning
to be visible at all levels students, staff and the community is vital. Students must
be active in their learning and should be able to know about their learning and plan
for and articulate their next learning steps. Staff must use student assessment to
drive professional conversations about learning and inform their practice and the
community must be responsive in working in partnership with the school to support
their children in learning.
When learning is visible and explicit to students, a significant positive impact on
learning can be achieved.
