WHY NOT USE BLOOD, SERUM
OR URINE TO SCREEN MINERALS?
The blood and serum do contain minerals, but they
may not be completely representative of the bodys
mineral storage. Additionally, minerals found in
urine indicate what is being removed from the body.
It does not indicate the current level of minerals in
the body. However, urine analysis is good for testing
organic acids and peptides.

Trace mineral analysis is a form of tissue biopsy,
or hair analysis. As a screening tool, it analyzes
the mineral content from a sample of your hair, not
only providing critical information about current
nutritional imbalances, biounavailability of nutri-
ents, and the levels of major toxic metals within
your body; more importantly, it also helps predict
and prevent future problems as well.
For example:
A high sodium level indicates a tendency
towards inflammation. To lower it, you dont
stop eating salt, you take Zinc, and Zinc
lowers sodium. However, someone who
already has sodium levels which are too low
if they take zinc, they could make themselves
worse. A hair mineral analysis can also reveal
when to take a nutrient, as well as how
much of a nutrient to take.
A low sodium level in the hair tends to
indicate fatigued adrenals. To raise a low
sodium level, one doesnt have the person eat
more sodium. One must increase adrenal
energy to raise sodium. Or one can use
minerals such as manganese and copper in the
proper amounts.
Its been my experience that hair tissue mineral
analysis is the perfect screening tool for identifying
the root cause of symptoms at the cellular level
where blood and urine test can fall short.

Various mineral imbalances, as revealed by hair
analysis frequent lead to metabolic dysfunctions
before any symptoms become manifest.

PERFORMANCE BENEFITS
1). Anyone who is under mental and/or physical
stress. Or, if found ill and no explanation can be
found, or, when the cause seems to be discovered but
the therapy is not wholly effective. Hair analysis
opens up a whole new vista for the solving of your
own particular problem by recognizing your bio-
chemical individuality.
2). Adults and youth involved in recreational, amateur
or professional sports. Athletes should be screened a
minimum of once per
year. Sport athletics
requires individuals to
use larger amounts of
minerals and nutri-
ents for increased
performance levels.
3). Finally, even if

may take years for
toxic metals to cause
a reaction in the body
tissue. We highly
recommend obtaining
a hair analysis at least once per year.
CAUSES OF A MINERAL IMBALANCE
The accumulation of toxic metals from the
environment, job, or hobby.
Inheritance of mineral patterns from parents
Improper diet - such as excessive intake of
refined carbohydrates and sugars, strict vegetarian
diets or other exclusive diet.
Taking vitamins and minerals which are not
compatible with your current body chemistry
individuality
Over training and poor sleep

Hair analysis is an invaluable screening tool which
allows a personalized approach. Each athlete has a
unique biochemistry, like a fingerprint, and hair tissue
analysis allows the creation of an individualized
nutritional balancing food and supplementation program
designed based upon your unique bio-fingerprint.
