INRODUCION:
Our health is continuously under the influence of both endogenous (with in) and exogenous (around)
environment and therefore a matter of great concern. Our health is adversely affected due to many
microorganisms that lead to several kinds of infections in the body. ood sanitation !ractices" healthy food and
vaccination always !lay an im!ortant role in !reventing these diseases.
O,-*%(./*: #he students will be able to !re!are a brochure on various communicable and non$communicable
diseases. #hey will also be able to understand the im!ortance of raising !ublic awareness against these diseases
in the community.

Each section of class %&&& will be divided in to grou! of '$( students of mixed ability. &t will be random
grou!ing by lottery system. )ollect the information related to their to!ic and !resent it in an aesthetic
manner in the form of brochure
#he students will then divide the work to be done amongst them which will be done in the summer
break. *ll the matter will be collected and made ready. #he grou! will then !re!are the brochure by
assembling the collected matter in the school in the allotted time.
#he students will !re!are a brochure (handwritten or !rinted). #he brochure should have at least four
sides which includes a cover !age.
#he students will collect information on the various communicable and non$communicable diseases
caused by various microorganisms" their sym!toms and !reventive measures(*t least four from each i.e.
communicable and non$communicable disease )
+or a !articular disease the students will give an introduction of the disease which may include the
causal organism" mode of transmission" sym!toms and !reventive measures.
#hey will also find about the latest government !rogramme im!lemented to !revent and cure these
diseases
#he students will then assemble this information on the brochure.
,ictures related to the to!ic can be !asted or drawn on the brochure.
#he brochure should be concluded by writing a !aragra!h (-'. words) in their own words on their
views on this to!ic and by answering the /uestion that what would you do if you find out that a friend or
relative in your family is suffering from any disease caused by microorganism
