The end section = 20-15 or 5 Kft
Bridge tap use more stringent specification
BT = 12 K ES = 7 Kft
Calculate the power level at the Tel set (in mw) if a signal starts at the Telco at
7 mw
First convert 7mw to dBm..10 log (7/1) = 8.45 dBm
Then calculate the loss in the cable..20 x .23 = 4.6 dB
Then find the dB level at the phone set8.45 4.6 = 3.85 dB
Then convert 3.85 dBm into a mw valuelog-1(3.85/10) = 2.42 mw
Remember dBm = 10 log ( P/1mw)
