Recipe Title:Polish Cake
Ingredients:
4 oz butter
8 oz digestive biscuits
6 oz Bourneville chocolate
1 tbsp golden syrup
2 dessert spoons oI drinking chocolate
Method:Dissolve the butter, syrup and chocolate powder in a saucepan.
At the same time melt the chocolate over a bowl oI hot water on the hob.
Crush the biscuits (not too Iine) and add them to the butter etc in the
saucepan.
Press into a greased and lined tin (approx 7) and press down evenly.
Cover the top with melted chocolate, spread quickly, mark into sections
and leave to set Ior about an hour.
Notes:Made in 15 minutes readv to eat in 1 hour.
