PLLAROS HOLIDAYS

Pllaro is a small city located in Tungurahua northwest of Ambato, but this an excellent place to
do a party. Every week we have a party in here. The most representative of them is called
diablada pillarea which is considered Ecuadors intangible cultural heritage. Inti Raymi is a
celebration to the sun and land to said thank you by harvest of this year. By July we celebrate
the canonization parties of our town. We are good to celebrate the life, we can enjoy with
moderation and a lot of fun.
Diablada Pillarea doesnt have yours origins in a true form because in 1898 Pillarians
Indians burned all the papers about the Pllaros history, by the other hand a lot of historians
make some ideas whom the celebrated have started, but all of them dont have any document
to support them. It is celebrated from January fisrt since sixth of the same month. It consists
that people of diferentes communities like Tungipamba or Marcos Espinel have worn like devil.
