Course Description
K.CC.4. Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect
counting to cardinality.
a. When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order,
pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number
name with one and only one object.
K.CC.3. Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written
numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
K.CC.1 Count to 100 by ones and by tens

Prerequisite:
Students need to have access to a computer and the Internet in a daily basis.
Ability to use a computer, access emails, use a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari)
and MS-Word, and use the Blackboard course management system.
Required Textbooks: There are no required textbooks for this course
Additional videos may be posted under each activity on the Weebly course site. Web resources and
other assessments will also be listed there.

Resource requirements
All students taking an online course will be expected to have access to a computer connected to the Internet and
loaded with the appropriate Internet access software as well as MS-Office or a compatible package.

Attendance/Expectations for the Student
Check the Home page each time you access the activities on website for updated information.
Pay attention to scores scored on KhanAcademy for steps needed to master concepts.
Study assignments using Quizlet and KhanAcademy for practice and assessments.
Read and view all course materials with thoughtfulness.
Post thoughtful questions via the Contact form. Send private concerns and emails to instructors
email for a response.
Attendance records will be kept based on your records of tests taken on KhanAcademy and Quizlet.
Discussion forum netiquette is a must to encourage professional learning (if applicable)

Grading Scale
A 90% or above 18-20 points
B 80% -89% 16-17 points
C 70% - 79% 14-15 points
D 60% -69% 12-13 points
Failing 59% or below 11 points or less
