Application to HSE Position Position

I write to apply to HSE Position in your company. I am an Indian based in Qatar, HSE
Engineer, with about 10years of Health Safety, Security, Environmental and QMS
experience in the Oil/Gas and Construction industries locally and internationally.
I have worked as HSE Supervisor presently with Geo force Trading & Contracting
company in Qatar and have also worked as HSE Supervisor on Cegelec Qatar(Vincy
Energies) in various Projects, developed procedures and reviewed existing ones to
ensure they are site-specific and also meeting applicable industry standard
requirements. Planning every site activity and monitoring effective implementation in
over 8 sites is under my purview.
As at first quarter 2010, I was still with Qatar Shell on the Pearl GTL Project in the role
of Incident Data QC Analyst for three (3) years, where I coached and trained the entire
Qatar Shell GTL staff and contractors on Incident and data management and reporting
using industry methodologies and database tools like Fountain Impact and Spotfire for
incident reporting, investigation and follow up. Analyzing for trends, quality - checking
and reporting of HSSE data were all part of my routines.

Before joining Qatar Shell GTL Ltd, I had been with Shell Nigeria in the capacity of
HSSE Adviser at Egbema District for over seven (7) years, where I was the point of call
on all HSSE matters, I also developed and implemented plans, procedures, programs,
HSSE cases, coordinated response/containment of different tiers of oil/chemical spills,
recovery and clean up/remediation efforts both on land and in water. With years of
involvement in road construction projects by the Asset Team, I was also instrumental to
the upgrading and certifying over ten (10) Shell Nigeria Production facilities to ISO
9001, ISO14001 standards and OHSAS 18001 specifications.
HSSE Hazards, Environmental Aspects/ Effects management, supervisory and
persuasion skills have been my areas of strengths. I have attached my CV for your
