"Advise ATC of Intentions"

The development of contingency procedures, required to cover the case of engine failure or an in flight
emergency which occurs after V1 is the responsibility of the operator, in accordance with ICAO Annex 6.
Where terrain and obstacles permit, these procedures should follow the normal departure route.
All Azul procedures will avoid an Engine Out Turning Departure whenever possible. If a turning

Curitiba Intl is an airport located in So Jos dos Pinhais and is surrounded by high terrain (hills
and mountains) from the N towards the SE. The airport is located in an area favorable to the formation of very dense fog during winter time or cold days and nights, and its generally not so
easy to dissipate.

2. AZUL COMMUNICATIONS
DESPACHO CURITIBA is available on 130.900 mhz for operational calls.
In range call may be required in order to provide ETA and any special requests, and to obtain the

MANUTENO CURITIBA is available on 130.900 mhz (portable radio) for any maintenance
demand.
Calls to CCO, DOV, MCC and ESCALA are available through ROIP on 130.900 mhz in
CWB.
