implement enriching learning experiences, which is an
integral aspect of ongoing professional development. In
addition, Focus 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 also interconnect
within the underlying facets of Standard One,
emphasising the importance of comprehending and
attaining teaching and learning approaches that support
students with diverse backgrounds, varying cultural
experiences, specific learning needs and disabilities.

Focus 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6, highlight the

whether it be Mathematics, English, Science, History,
Humanities and Social Science, The Arts, Technologies
and/or Health and Physical Education. Continual
professional development, sequencing content in an
effective manner that integrates operational assessing
techniques and understanding teaching strategies, will
ensure the implementation of an enriching and
efficacious lesson, that accommodate and respect all
students within the learning environment.



Particular workshops, conferences and
seminars, will assist with my ongoing
professional learning and contribute to the
successful implementation of utilizing ICTs
within the classroom environment.

teaching strategies which use varying resources and
techniques, further reiterating the importance of
continually professional development. Focus 3.5, 3.6 and
3.7 additionally underpin the essence of Standard Three,
illuminating the prominence of operative communication
within the classroom environment and schooling
community and the reflection process required to
efficiently assess and expand teaching and learning
experiences and programs.

reinforcing positive expectations and establishing
suitable learning goals contribute to the construction of
prosperous teaching and learning environment for both
educator and students. Focus 4.4 and 4.5, further
elaborate the prominence of strategies utilised to
support students welfare and safety, concerning
international, state and national legislation documents
and appropriate usage of Information and
Communication Technologies.

Assessment is an integral component of teaching and learning
that assists with acquiring evidence regarding student
knowledge, achievement and capabilities and evaluating the
effectiveness of teaching strategies. Focus 5.1 describes the
significance of utilising varying assessment strategies, such as
diagnostic testing, Summative and Formative assessment, self-
assessment etc. to optimise student learning outcomes.
Additionally, Focus 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5, collate with the
underpinning of Standard Five and the prominence of
allocating suitable responses to outcomes, interpreting sourced
evidence and formulating and reporting conclusions.

descriptors. Focus 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 emphasise the
connotation of the intermittent renewing of professional
development and the importance of remaining abreast and
reefing conceptual understandings and abilities.

organisation polices. In addition, Focus 7.3 and 7.4 express that
the coalescing of participation within the school setting not
only positively impacts on student intellectual, social and
emotional development, but also improves learning
capabilities, increases achievement and assists with creating a
supportive learning environment.
