Mixed martial arts are coming to northeast Florida.

The ever-growing sport, which has been popularied by the !ltimate Fighting
"hampionship #eague $!F"% and its president &ana 'hite, has seen its
popularity spi(e-spawning smaller leagues in the process.
The )ouse o* Fame MMA- in con+unction with the ,ac(sonville Sports "ouncil,
the ,aguars, and the Armada Football "lub- will launch a new *ranchise that
will based in -iver "ity.
The idea is to put promote ,ac(sonville as a sports destination.
.'e chose a mar(et that was really untouched and we want to show people
what real pro MMA is about,/ Fran( More+on told reporters. More+on is a talent
coordinator in the up-start league. .And this partnership is helping us to build
the sport and really put ,ac(sonville on the map./
