3 DE 197 1. INTRODUCCION
El Puente Rama 140 est ubicado en el kilmetro 134+000.0 de la carretera Arco Oriente del Anillo Periferico, en el Estado de Puebla.
Se trata de un puente simplemente apoyado con solucion tipo Gerber compuesto de 10 claros, con una longitud total de 447.25 m, con el siguiente arreglo de claros: 42.0 - 70.0 - 42.0 - 4x34.813 - 42.0 - 70.0 - 42.0m.
La seccion transversal del puente esta formada por una trabe tipo cajon de 250cm de peralte de concreto postensado.
La subestructura esta formada por pilas de concreto reforzado y postensado (Pilas No.2, 3, 9 y 10), cimentadas sobre zapatas piloteadas y dos Caballetes con cimentacion a base pila-pilote.

3. MATERIALES
3.1. Concreto.
- Concreto para trabes Tipo: fc = 400 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para trabes Gerber: fc = 600 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para Cuerpo de Pilas: fc = 500 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para cabezales: fc = 250 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para caballetes: fc = 400 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para zapatas de pilas: fc = 250 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para pilotes: fc = 250 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto para guarniciones y barrera central: fc = 250 kg/cm 2 . - Concreto simple para plantillas: fc = 100 kg/cm 2 .
El peso volumtrico del concreto reforzado es 2.5 ton/m 3 .
4 DE 197 El mdulo de elasticidad del concreto se estima a partir de la expresin :

donde fc es la resistencia caracterstica del concreto en kg/cm 2 .
Mdulo de Poisson : = 0.2
3.2. Material de relleno.
Para rellenos sobre zapatas o interior de cuerpo de pilas se usar un material producto de la excavacin a volteo, con un dimetro mximo de 20 cm y con un peso volumtrico de 1.8 t/m 3 .
3.3. Asfalto.
Para el asfalto que compone la superficie de rodamiento se considera un peso volumtrico de 2.2 ton/m 3 , para fines de clculo se tomar un espesor de 12 cm y un espesor real de 4 cm.
3.4. Acero
3.4.1. Acero de refuerzo.
Para el acero de refuerzo se considera un esfuerzo de fluencia fy = 4200 kg/cm 2 (Grado 60) segn norma ASTM.
El peso volumtrico es de 7.85 ton/m 3 .
Recubrimientos : Refuerzo vertical en pilas : 6.0 cm. Refuerzo principal de estribos y zapatas expuestos a tierra : 7.5 cm. Refuerzo principal de estribos expuestos a tierra : 5.0 cm. Refuerzo lecho inferior de losa : 2.5 cm Refuerzo lecho superior de losa : 3.5 cm Refuerzo en guarniciones : 3.5 cm
Esto se medir del centro de la varilla mas cercana al pao existente de la superficie de concreto.

Peso volumtrico : 7.85 ton/m 3 . Esfuerzo ltimo de ruptura fpu = 190 000 ton/m 2 . Esfuerzo de tensin = 0.8 de fpu. Mdulo de elasticidad : E S = 19 700 000 ton/m 2 . Mdulo de Poisson : = 0.3
Nota: La resistencia mnima del concreto al momento del tensado deber ser de 0.8fc Cuerpo de Pila = (0.8x500)=400 kg/cm 2 . Trabe tipo Gerber = (0.8x600)=480 kg/cm 2 . Trabe Tipo = (0.8x400)=320 kg/cm 2 .
Coeficientes para clculos de las prdidas de presfuerzo: La friccin angular y lineal se calcula con la frmula:

Donde: f = 0.20 rad -1
f = 0.003 m -1 (Nota: vale 0 para cables exteriores)
Los ductos sern de lmina galvanizada para los cables interiores y de polietileno alta densidad (PEHD) para los cables exteriores. Los valores propuestos son basados sobre resultados obtenidos en puentes doble volado colados en sitio, donde los ductos atraviesan varias juntas de colado.
Entrada del cono: g = 6 mm (= inch).
Acortamiento Elstico del concreto al tensado: de acuerdo al reglamento AASHTO.
Relajacin: Acero de muy baja relajacin (r 1000 = 2.5%). La relajacin a 1000 horas es 2.5% para una tensin final de 70%.
NOTA: Las leyes de flujo, retraccin y relajacin con el tiempo sern presentadas en la memoria Presentacin del modelo del anlisis longitudinal.
6 DE 197 4. TIPOS DE CARGA
4.1. Cargas muertas
a. Peso propio
Los efectos del peso propio son calculados considerando una densidad de 2.5 ton/m 3 para el concreto y de 7.85 ton/m 3 para el acero.
b. Cargas muertas de servicio.
Para fines de diseo se considerar una carpeta asfltica de 12 cm de espesor, con un ancho de carpeta de 15.3 m.
4.2. Carga viva
Los efectos de carga viva se estimarn a partir de las cargas vehiculares siguientes:
T3-S2-R4 TIPO I (72.5 TON) DE LA S.C.T. T3-S3 TIPO I (48.5 TON) DE LA S.C.T. HS-20 truck (AASHTO) HS-20 lane (AASHTO)
realizndose todas las combinaciones posibles entre ellas con el fin de producir las condiciones mas crticas sobre las estructura, actuando en un ancho de carga de 3.05 m. Aplicndose los siguientes factores de reduccin por simultaneidad de cargas :
Uno y Dos carriles cargados ; F = 1.00 Tres carriles cargados ; F = 0.90 Ms de Tres carriles cargados ; F = 0.75
4.3. Temperatura
Se considerar los efectos por cambio de temperatura.
El valor del coeficiente de deformacin trmica es de:
- 1.0 10 -5 /C para el concreto
Se considerar una variacin lineal de temperatura global igual a 20 C para la superestructura.

4.4. Sismo
Para el estudio de la respuesta ssmica se realiz un anlisis modal espectral de la estructura. De acuerdo al Manual de Diseo de Obras Civiles de la CFE, edicin 1996; para el sitio de la obra, con zonificacin ssmica llamada D y tipo de suelo I, se permiti definir el siguiente espectro de diseo (condiciones de servicio) para las componentes horizontales de la excitacin:
(ZONA SISMICA B, SISMO TIPO III
Espectro de diseo para el puente en servicio para un periodo de retorno de 500 aos.
El diseo ssmico de la estructura deber de efectuarse considerando las siguientes condiciones de carga:
* Sismo transversal = 1.0*ST+0.3*SL+0.3*SV
* Sismo longitudinal =0.3*ST+1.0*SL+0.3*SV
donde ST es la componente horizontal del sismo actuando en la direccin perpendicular al eje del puente, SL es la componente horizontal del sismo actuando en la direccin paralela al eje del puente, SV es la componente vertical del sismo.
Para el diseo en servicio, se considerarn los siguientes factores de comportamiento:
Q = 2.0 para las solicitaciones transversales (momentos) Q = 2.0 para las solicitaciones longitudinales (momentos) Q = 1.0 para los cortantes y torsin Q = 1.0 para los desplazamientos Q = 1.0 para todas las conexiones entre columnas y tablero. Q = 1.0 para cimentacin.
8 DE 197 Los factores de comportamiento en construccin sern tomados iguales a 1.0, excepto para los apoyos extremos (estribos) cuyo valor ser de 0.8.
5. COMBINACIONES DE CARGA
Se aplica la seccin tres del reglamento AASHTO.
6. ESFUERZOS PERMISIBLES
Para la justificacin en Construccin:
Durante las fases de construccin, se verificar que los esfuerzos no sobrepasan los valores admisibles que siguen:
Trabes Tipo a) Compresin: 0.6 fc = 2400 t/m 2 . b) Tensin: 3.1 MPa = 320 t/m 2 . (para limitar las grietas eventuales). c) Cortante: 2.1 MPa = 214 t/m 2 .
Para la justificacin en estado limite de servicio (SLD):
A tiempo Infinito:
a) Compresin: 0.45 fc = 1800 t/m 2 bajo cargas muertas y 0.60 fc = 2400 t/m 2 bajo otras combinaciones.
b) Tensin: No tensin bajo cargas muertas. Adems, se disear el puente para lograr a tener una reserva de compresin mnima de 100 t/m 2 en la mayora de las secciones bajo cargas muertas unicamente. Se aceptara excepcionalmente una tensin de 320 t/m 2 bajo otras combinaciones, como mximo permisible. Pero en general se intentar obtener la mitad como tensin mxima 160 t/m 2 en la mayora de las secciones.
c) Cortante: 280 t/m 2 mximo bajo cargas muertas con cargas vivas y temperatura concomitante (incluyendo la torsin).
Para la justificacin en estado limite de servicio (SLD):
A tiempo Infinito:

f) Cortante: 280 t/m 2 mximo bajo cargas muertas con cargas vivas y temperatura concomitante (incluyendo la torsin).
Los mismos esfuerzos admisibles sern tomados en cuenta para la justificacin del puente durante la apertura al trfico.
NOTA: Bajo sismo con viento, los esfuerzos admisibles sern incrementados en los porcentajes del reglamento AASHTO.
7. METODOS DE CALCULO
7.1. Modelo para anlisis dinmicos.
La estructura se model con elementos tipo viga y comportamiento elstico- lineal.
Para el estudio de la respuesta ssmica se realiz un clculo modal-espectral con los espectros de diseo definidos anteriormente. Para dicho clculo se escogi un nmero de modos tal que la suma de masas modales (en las direcciones horizontales y vertical) sea igual a por lo menos el 80 % de la masa total de la estructura.
La combinacin de las respuestas ssmicas, asociadas a cada modo se realizar utilizando el mtodo CQC (Complete Quadratic Combination).
El amortiguamiento estructural del puente se considerar como 5 % del amortiguamiento crtico.
Se realizaron clculos ssmicos dinmicos para la condicin de puente en servicio.

8.1 REVISIN DE ELEMENTOS DE LA SUPERESTRUCTURA
Se llevo a cabo una revisin de las trabes que componen toda la superestructura con ayuda de modelos tridimensionales. Primeramente del conjunto de trabes con solucin tipo Gerber y en segundo lugar las trabes simplemente apoyadas entre los apoyos centrales. Se elaboraron dos modelos de anlisis por cada una de las trabes a analizar, el primero de ellos fue en fases de construccin, desde el colado hasta el izaje de la misma y el trabajo en servicio. El segundo modelo fue el de carga viva en la posicin mas desfavorable. Una vez terminado los modelos se llevaron a cabo las combinaciones de ambos y se obtuvieron los esfuerzos en los elementos, los cuales se compararon con los permisibles segn AASHTO. A continuacin se muestran los modelos de anlisis, as como los archivos de entrada de los mismos, los elementos mecnicos de cada etapa y las graficas de esfuerzos finales de cada una de las trabes.
