Last Pasach (2013) I was privileged to visit the new upgraded Temple Institute in the
Old City of Jerusalem with its stunning display of Temple artifacts, vessels, robes etc
all prepared in the prescribed biblical manner. The High Priest exhibit with his robes,
turban, breastplate etc. were very authentic and the young Israeli IDF guide told us
about the dye used from the Murex Trunculus. It was that deep midnight
blue that you quoted. This is the gem for me . . . It was a very powerful and moving
experience to see all this in the Temple Institute!

Clearly, the woman = the city (better, the nation). But, what colors is she wearing?

Background:
Ever since coming to the sobering conclusion that America is indeed Babylon the Great,
I have suspected that the woman or the great city which John describes is clothed in
red (scarlet), white (linen), and blue (purple); however, it wasnt until I read Kristie
Johnsons book Mystery Babylon the Great, Defender of Israel: A Search for
America in Bible Prophecy that I understood precisely how the apparent
discrepancy between the colors purple and blue can easily be remedied (keeping in mind
that purple is essentially blue with a red component).
The Holy Spirit only recently brought me back to this topic; this happened shortly after I
had read the wonderful article on Babylon by sister Cindy of Cindy By the Sea and an
article about a rare blue lobster by the talented JRed at Look Up Fellowship. So,
thanks for the inspiration, you two! Here are their respective articles-

It will help immensely to understand my current article if you have already resolved that
there is no such entity as Mystery Babylon or Mystery Babylon the Great. The word
mystery or the Greek musterion, is simply descriptive; it is not part of a title! The
identity of end times Babylon has long been a mystery or, better, a sacred secret, yet
is now being revealed, in these last days to represent The United States of America.
This portion of Revelation 17:5 (shown in its entirety above) is better written, A
mystery; Babylon the Great, as it is in certain translations. The semicolon and the
lack of capitalization of mystery make all the difference. Here is an article I wrote

As I stated earlier, Kristie Johnson was onto something extremely significant during her
research for the thought-provoking book she published in 2004. I will attempt to take
this portion of her work much further. Here is a quote by Ms. Johnson which hints at
the direction in which this current article is headed-
If one researches how purple is different from blue, that is where you learn something
very interesting. Not only is the word blue used very seldom in the Bible, but it is never
found in the New Testament at all!
This is true. Actually, the word blue is found 49 times in the Hebrew of the Old
Testament and not at all in the Greek of the New Testament. Here is the proof-

The reason is this. Both blue and purple were very important colors in Bible days, Old
and New Testament alike. Blue and purple dyes were used for priestly garments and
other official attire. Yet, the origin of these colors is the very same dye! This dye was
derived from a mussel shellfish, a gastropod mollusk. We get our first information
about this from first studying the word blue in Hebrew, and then by looking at the
word purple in both Greek and Hebrew-

Finally, to be thorough, lets look at the word purple in Hebrew-

So, back in the days of the Old Testament, purple meant purple or red-purple, and
blue meant anything from red, through purple, through blue. Interesting! Please keep
this in mind as we proceed.
Therefore, we have, most importantly, discovered that the Hebrew word for blue,
tekeleth, can indicate blue, brilliant red, deep purple, or anything in-between! The
Greek word for purple seems to mean only purple, but lets research both a bit further,
after asking ourselves why would there not be a Greek word used for blue in the days
that the New Testament was written? The answer is found here, and I will expound
upon this in a later section; but for now, again, both blue and purple dyes, in Old as
well as New Testament days, were derived from the same shellfish species! Even the
Hebrew word for blue, which is tekeleth, has an etymological derivation specifically
from this shellfish! This is another, more thorough, definition of Strongs H8504, from-

Fascinating, indeed, in that the shellfish is
best known for purple dye, but the word itself means blue! Elsewhere, we read that
this particular mussel itself is frequently called the Cerulean mussel, the color of which
is described as either violet or blue.
Elsewhere, from-

. . . in which the discussion is about the Biblical Blue of Old Testament days-
Blue techeleth, generally supposed to mean an azure or sky color; rendered by
the Septuagint , and by the Vulgate hyacinthum, a sky-blue or deep violet.
You will notice, if you read each of the 49 Old Testament verses which include the word
blue, that purple is frequently also featured in the very same verse. Here is one
particular verse which seems to indicate that these two colors have the same origin,
which they physically do have, as I will demonstrate later. But for now, look at this
powerful Biblical evidence; Ezekiel 27:7-
Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be
thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.
Next, lets get a bit scientific or, actually, quite scientific (bear with me, as Im a scientist
myself, and I believe this to be essential information) . . .

A mussel shellfish, and a range of dye colors:
Here is a definition of purple as used in the Bible, from-

Purple, a color obtained from the secretion of a species of shell-fish (the Murex
trunculus) which was found in the Mediterranean, and particularly on the coasts of
Phoenicia and Asia Minor. The coloring matter in each separate shell-fish amounted to
only a single drop, and hence the great value of this dye.
We have now been introduced to the main mussel species from which the dye for both
purple and blue dye is derived; Murex trunculus.
A scientific article, by Deborah Ruscillo, which is
entitled Reconstructing Murex Royal Purple and Biblical Blue in the
Aegean, is of the utmost importance, and I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. Some of
her findings, especially those pertinent to this article, are included below.
In describing the use of the Murex snail in dyes, notably blue and purple-
In antiquity, a variety of colors, not just one, was made from Murex, the most lavish of
which were dark and vibrant.
In discussing other, much less impressive, types of dyes not related to mussels, Dr.
Ruscillo compares-
In the Aegean, the most prized purple came from sea snails, especially Murex.
Here she describes that there are actually three related species which produce this
spectrum of colors we are discussing-
There are two main species of Murex that produce dye, Murex trunculus and
Murex brandaris. A similar-looking species, Thais haemastoma, also produces dye.
Thais species and perhaps Murex brandaris produces more of a crimson or wine color
in textiles, while Murex trunculus is known to produce shades of purple. In the
Aegean, by far, Murex species have been recovered in the greatest quantity from
archaeological contexts suggestive of dye manufacturing industry. From the Early
Bronze Age to the later Roman period, Murex remains have been excavated in middens
around the Aegean and eastern Mediterranean. The archaeological record consists of
crushed or broken Murex shells either with holes in the shell body or crushed into
pieces and in some cases pottery sherds with purple dye residues
Dyeing of cloth, especially wool (which readily accepted the dye and achieved the
desired hue much better than other fabrics), was a major business in Bible times. What
Dr. Ruscillo was attempting to do, in her study, was to re-create the methodology used
in the ancient days for collecting the snail specimens and extracting the dye. Here are
two other quotes-
By producing Royal Purple ourselves, we could establish a methodology for studying
and interpreting archaeological Murex remains. We could calculate how much dye
was produced from a sample and attempt to distinguish between Murex used for food
and bait from those used for dye extraction.
The hypobranchial gland is the dye producing gland in Murex; its function is to
produce mucus to the mantle cavity of the creature. By separating the organs, the
mucus oxidized and the gland producing the dye turned bright purple.
In order to accomplish these objectives, Dr. Ruscillo and her partner set up the
experiment in a manner whereby different batches of this dye extraction from these
snails were produced. These batches all differed somewhat in how they were handled
and processed. Remember that, to this point (which includes Batches 1-5), they were
getting mostly purple dye. However, in Batch 6 the results change, even though in all
of their experiments they are utilizing the same type of snail-
The colours produced by Batch 6 were a complete surprise. These were the swatches
immersed immediately after gland extraction in the unsteeped mixture of Murex
glands and mucus with sea water, and left in the unheated concoction for only 10
minutes, and then hung to dry. I watched as the white, slimy swatches dried to
beautiful blue hues. This experiment had recreated the Biblical Blue or tekhelet, as
it is known, sacred in antiquity as well as the present, particularly in the Jewish
religion. It is known that this sacred blue was produced from marine snails. Each
batch was prepared a different way, and with different additives and mordants.
There you have it! Same input snails, yet significantly different output colors!
This is what accounted for the difference in results within this particular experiment-
Batch 6 used sea water alone but was not steeped and heated like the other batches
swatches were immersed in the concoction immediately after dye extraction. In each
case, save for Batch 6, the mixture was heated to 80 degrees Celsius after three days of
steeping, and sieved to remove the soft tissue from the liquid.
And an important result-
There has been a resurgence of tekhelet manufacture in Israel using marine snails,
outlined by Rabbi Herzog in the 1800s (Spanier 1987), and produced today by the
Tekhelet Foundation in Jerusalem. Tekhelet means light blue in Hebrew*; this
experiment produced a light baby blue to a deep navy blue, all quite attractive.
Here are two of her conclusions, which are essential to the thesis of this article-
Many shades of blue and violet can be produced from Murex trunculus
and
Biblical Blue can be made from Murex species as well as Royal Purple
It is obvious that blue and purple are closely related colors, derived in these Biblical
cases from the same dye, and that blue was not specifically mentioned in the New
Testament in part perhaps because of this overlap of the colors (more on this later)!
Dr. Ruscillo goes on to state that the processing is essential to obtaining of certain
colors; for example, the purple color is ruined by boiling, but steeping for 3 days will
allow a deep vibrant purple to be produced.

One of the mysteries that scholars have puzzled over for centuries is the exact shade
of blue represented by tekhelet. Though scientists and scholars are still
debating the exact shade of the ritual blue, the dye used is modeled after a 2,000-year-
old textile, and is produced from sea snails found in Israeli water.
From what I can gather by reading this article, the following is a photo of the precise
piece of textile which was recently discovered-

quote below from this same article-
What was known about tekhelet (pronounced t-CHELL-et) was that the Talmud said it
was produced from the secretion of the sea snail, which is still found on Israeli
beaches. Traditional interpretations have characterized tekhelet as a pure blue,
symbolic of the heavens so that Jews would remember God. Not so, according to an
Israeli scholar (Zvi C. Koren) who has a new analysis: tekhelet appears to have
been closer to a bluish purple.
The piece of fabric shown above was analyzed by Dr. Koren, who was the first researcher
to make the connection between the fabric and the snail dye. Here is another quote-
He found that the dye used in the Masada sample, a piece of bluish-purple yarn
embroidery, came from a breed of Murex trunculus snail familiar to modern
Israelis. Such shades on textiles are rare finds since they were typically worn
exclusively by royalty or nobility.
According to Daniella E. Bar-Yosef Mayer, an archaeologist from the University of Haifa
who specializes in mollusk shells, in referring to Dr. Korens discoveries, states-
Its especially exciting for religious Jews who place great importance on this color.
So, what color is Tekhelet? According to Dr. Koren, from his laboratory-
Tekhelet is the color of the sky. Its not the color of the sky as we know it; its the
color of sky at midnight.
Bluish purple, then? Profound, I would say!
Mr. Baruch Sterman, a Ftil Tekhelet founder, had this to say about the new findings-
Probably in ancient times, what was most important to the Jews was that the color is a
beautiful color and it comes from the snail. The minor distinction sky blue,
turquoise, lapis or purple blue were probably not of significance to them.
I am not sure if this is true; in fact, I suspect that it is not. In the Bible, God lays out
very precise conditions for colors, measurements, and the like. However, Mr. Sterman
does confirm that this range of colors, essentially blue to purple, is derived from this
very special snail and that there is certainly a variation in what specific hue is obtained
from batch to batch.
So, what specifically can cause color variations in the end product, the dyed wool
garment? Exposure to sun is one major factor. According to-

If the raw dye is left in the sun for a few minutes, then the resulting color is
more of an indigo blue than the desired purple or purple-blue.
So, we see that fast drying creates blue, and slow drying creates purple, from the same
dye! Here is another important quote from this article-
The ancient method for mass-producing purple-blue dye from Hexaplex trunculus has
not yet been successfully reproduced (because the purplish hue degrades too quickly,
resulting in blue only). Nonetheless the use of this species in dyeing purple-blue has
been confirmed in the archeology of Phoenicia.
And, according to the Ptil Tekehlet Organization-
The Hebrew Bible mentions a specific blue dye, called Tekhelet ( ) for use in the
Priestly garments as well in the laymans tzitzit, the formal tassels or fringes of
clothing, which some believe refers to the indigo dye from the Hexaplex
trunculus when kept in the sun. Similarly, the Hebrew Bible also mentions a
specific purple dye, called argaman ( ), which refers to the purple color this
same dye produces when kept in the shade.
So, here is a bit of the science behind this phenomenon-
Research by Otto Elsner (Shenker College of Fibers, Ramat Gan, Israel) and Ehud
Spaneir (University of Haifa, Haifa, Israel) showed that by performing what is
commonly referred to as vat dyeing based on the dyestuff from the trunculus, they
could achieve colors varying from blue to purple depending on exposure to
the sun when the dye solution was in its leuco (reduced) state. This phenomenon was
attributed to the dyestuff being composed of indigo, mono-bromo-indigo and di-
bromo-indigo. DiBromo-Indigo presents itself as purple whereas Indigo is blue. It was
demonstrated that when the reduced solution of trunculus dye is exposed to sunlight,
the UV-rays from the sun act to break the bromine bonds such that when oxidation
occurs following the removal of the dyed fabric from the solution, pure indigo bonds to
the wool, while the bromine atoms are left in the vat.
Indigo blue, which is chemically very similar to Tyrian purple, therefore behaves
similarly.
Bingo! Well, there we have it; this is the same dye and the achieved color hues are
simply gradational!
Not surprisingly, the ancients were aware of this effect. Both Aristotle and Pliny the
Elder wrote of this at some length. In addition, Vitruvius had this to say, circa 25 BC-
Purple exceeds all colors in costliness and superiority of its delightful effect. It is
obtained from a marine shellfish. It has not the same shade in all the places
where it is found, but is naturally qualified by the course of the sun.

Tyrian purple is a dull purple dye that is secreted by a common Mediterranean Sea
snail. It was highly prized in antiquity. In 1909 its structure was shown to be 6,6-
dibromoindigo. It has never been produced on a commercial basis. The relatedCiba
blue (5,7,5,7-tetrabromoindigo) is, however, of commercial value.

I so wish that I could read this tablet! Yet,
what is obvious is that these two colors are intimately related.
A Quick Summary:
To summarize, then, starting with the same shellfish, we can get purple by:
Non-immediate immersion in sea water, heating of batch initially to steep, keeping in
the shade, or drying slowly . . .
Or we can get blue by:
Immediate immersion in sea water, not heating batch initially, exposure to the sun, or
rapid drying . . .
To end this section, lets look at a picture which is a composite of different shades of
BLUE. I found this in the aforementioned article by JRed, but have been unable to
locate the image source. Keep this image in mind as we move to the next section in this
article.

The actual colors worn and adorned by the Harlot:
The following article is quite convincing, and the quote taken from it demonstrates that
even if all the evidence of the shellfish dyes were discounted, that the Prophet John
could still have been referring to the color blue, not purple, in the Revelation! How
much more profound seem his testimony and observations in light of the above
information!
Speaking of the Prophet John; from-

If the prophet of 90 AD was shown the colors of the United States, why then would he
say that he saw purple instead of blue, scarlet instead of red? Red and blue were
legitimate fabric colors of his day. Aside from the obvious, Yahweh using alternate
colors to remove the obvious implications of the United States (keeping it sealed until
wisdom has revealed it); the truth of the matter is, He didnt use alternate colors at all,
but the TRUE colors of the United States. Though the American flag is said to be RED,
WHITE & BLUE, the blue in the flag is not true-blue at all, but a new color called navy-
blue, that was not known in the days of John. As you can see, navy-blue is closer to
the purple of Johns day, than blue. Neither is the red of the American flag true-
red, but it is scarlet-red. He described what he saw.

Again, I find this quite convincing. After all,
because the word blue does not occur in the Greek of the New Testament anywhere, it
stands to reason that the Greek word for purple, porphurous, might thus cover these
closely-related hues as well. Otherwise, it would be a complete mystery as to why this
essential color of Old Testament days, blue (referred to 49 times), would not even be
mentioned in New Testament days!
Now lets talk about the American flag. It occurred to me that there must be an official
shade of blue in the USA flag and, indeed, there is. It is called Old Glory Blue and here
is a great picture-

Not surprising for a government operation, we have these rules-
The official specification for federal procurements of U.S. flags is set by the General
Services Administration. At the Defense Technology Information Center website is GSA
Federal Specification, Flag, National, United States of America and Flag, Union Jack
The specifications are:
Cable No. 70180 Old Glory Red
Cable No. 70001 White
Cable No. 70075 Old Glory Blue
Various sources give different Pantone equivalencies for these colors. The most
plausibly authoritative are those provided on miscellaneous American Embassy
websites, including American Embassy London. It gives the red as PMS 193 and the
blue as PMS 282 (also, identified as PMS 281 in other publications).
Therefore, let us check blue PMS 282.
Although it is difficult to resolve specific hues on computer monitors, this
vibrant color certainly appears purplish to me. I can totally relate to how John reacted
in seeing it, and in his description of it as purple in the Greek.
It seems that the verdict is in.
Finally, in Revelation 18:16, we have
the identity of Babylon the Great illuminated without a shadow of a doubt, for she is
clearly clothed in Americas national colors of red, white and blue-
. . Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet . .
Now that you have read this article, hopefully the portion of the above verse will read to
you-

My prayer is that this article will open minds
and hearts to the Biblical truth that America is Babylon the Great. The timing of this is
exquisite and God-ordained . . . as it is just before the Fourth of July, Americas
Independence Day. May you never again look at Old Glory in quite the same way**, but
instead with the knowledge that this once great nation is rapidly approaching her final
fall. May America bless God now, and may this country fully repent of her evil deeds,
for if not her judgment will reach up to Heaven. Yet, tragically, this is already written
and is irreversible, as we read in Jeremiah 51:9-
We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every
one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted
up even to the skies.
and, more in Revelation 18:2-
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,
and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of
every unclean and hateful bird.

Update 20 July, 2011-
The evidence presented in this article truly should strike the fatal blow to the
erroneous, but still prevalent, theory that the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) represents
the Harlot, and therefore that the destruction by fire will happen to Rome and/or the
Vatican. Proponents of this theory like to point to the white, scarlet, and purple adorned
by popes, cardinals, and bishops as part of the evidence that the Harlot is the RCC.
Now that we know it was actually red, white, and blue (specifically, Old Glory blue)
which John witnessed in his profound vision while (physically) on the Greek Isle of
Patmos this should be put to rest. Additional scriptural evidence for America, and
against the RCC, for the title of Babylon the Great is also overwhelming, and has been
exhaustively presented by R.A. Coombes in his 2-part classic America, the Babylon:
Americas Destiny Foretold in Biblical Prophecy.

*My research has shown that this shade and hue is strictly the traditional rendering;
the actual color is much darker as is demonstrated in this article . . .
**I was raised a very patriotic American; in fact, it was only about 3 years ago that I
renounced extreme patriotism after realizing two critical things- one, that
patriotism/nationalism is worship of a false god; and two, that although America was
established by God to be a great hope of the nations and the Gentile light of the world,
she has also had the seed of both the occult and rebellion since her inception. Now, her
downfall is rapid, as she has almost entirely fallen to the occult. Yet may the True
Church within Americas borders be purified and strengthened through these
upcoming trials and judgments!

Great piece, Carlos. You said, God bless America? America desperately needs to bless
God. Amen and Amen. What a shock it has been growing up and believing that we were
one nation under God the most High God only to discover that are actually the very
evil empire. Our future is established in the good book, the Bible. How very sad it is to
wake up and actually see the truth about the country that I have so loved. But we HAVE
become the haunt of the occult and every demon imaginable. I am surprised that our
gracious Savior has not destroyed us already; certainly He has shown us great mercy..
I spoke with an X military man (disabled after being in Iraq three times) the
disillusionment on the part of our military for those waking up to what our nation has
become. My heart goes out to them.

Hi Jeane, sorry for the late response- dove into research for Part II of Americas
Destiny Foretold Within Her Landscape and suffered through a migraine today- in
other words, an attack.
I agree with everything you have said. My heart cries out for those in our military such
as the man you mentioned, their families, and for the children of America.
I truly believe that America was the most blessed nation in the history of the world,
outside of Gods own chosen people. America turned her back on God and threw it all
away, threw away all of her blessings. Truly tragic, still breaks my heart and affects me
to my very core even though I have known this for years and I understand why this has
to be. His will be done.
Look at the beauty of this country, truly majestic. I have traveled to nearly every state
and I am in total awe of how God has blessed us. The natural beauty- astounding, the
natural resources- staggering.
This research I am doing now is bringing this all to the forefront; I am finding myself
quite emotional and there is no way I could even handle this outside of lots of prayer,
plenty of tears, and knowing that this is all Gods purpose. As part of my research today
Ive been listening to America, the Beautiful and American Pie. Yes, they are
connected, article forthcoming in a couple of months, God willing.

By the way sky blue (azure blue) is a MAJOR symbol of the Illuminati. Azure blue is a
major
feature in the Coat of Arms of the UK/England. To me it points to nephilim the
descendants of fallen angels.

Wow, as I was reading your article Carlos, several connections were being made around
these colors. The first is the different hues and what they represent. At the time of
sunset for a period of about ten minutes the sky is transformed in a gradient fashion,
moving across the sky. this is a result of the light from the sun being refracted through

The eye is a major entry point for the mind, the visual cortex of the brain sends
messages that are not always being recognized by the conciseness of the mind.
This is a clue as to the significance of these shades of color. They have power to effect
the mind and actions of people.
Is this why images and symbols play a big part in what the enemy is doing to come
against God and the war against his people. It seems to explain why these things are
being used and placed in churches and that they are more than just decoration. If they
are insignificant, then why does the enemy use them, or is it a way that has been
established by God himself, to see the enemy through through the light of Christ?
Now for the origins of this color coming from an what is an unclean element from the
sea and knowing what the sea represents in scripture.
What God has established the enemy seeks to use in a counterfeit to establish his works
over men and nations. Tyrian blue, Tyrian lodge?
Yes, it is becoming clearer as to who Lady Liberty is.

There must be a strong connection alright.
There is something peculiar for sure about the specific hue and shade of Old Glory
Blue. I will consider everything you have said here, for it is very important. I am
planning to research this must more extensively.

Thank you for the wonderful research and insights you have given us!
I love this country. I believe that our founding fathers were inspired by God to raise it up
and establish our Constitution. It is a divine document and our country was founded
upon Christian principles. It saddens me to know that we, as a nation, have become so
corrupt and far-removed from God. I know the scriptures testify of Americas role and
destiny in the last days. I know that John the Revelator saw our day and tried to warn
us. I have come to know also that Babylon, the great whore spoken of in Revelation and
other scriptures, is the very same America in which we live.
One thing I was not sure of was the significance of the colors used to describe her attire.
I had considered that maybe the colors were symbolic of government. Purple, being
symbolic of royalty, was perhaps a reference to our heritage being delivered from
England and the rule of monarchy. Red, heavily associated with communism and
socialism, was perhaps a reference to the direction we were headed.
The other day I saw a video talking about gold and silver, and in the video an image of a
gold coin which depicted lady liberty was shown. Immediately I could envision the
clothes she was draped in being red, white, and blue, and it struck me that perhaps this
was what John the Revelator was trying to describe to us in the book of Revelation. I
then started looking around and your article was the first I saw. Thank you again for
your research and putting this together!
It still strikes me though that perhaps his description of the colors (as seen in Revelation
17:4 which list only scarlet and purple) might be a description of the government or
political dress of Babylon. Such that the purple (blue) represents the democratic, and
scarlet represents the republican parties. What do you think?

When you saw the video the other day, and envisioned the red, white, and blue, that
was clearly the Holy Spirit showing you the truth about Lady Liberty in the spiritual.
Lady Liberty is clearly Ishtar, a fallen angel and the most esteemed Babylonian goddess.
Let me just say that it is extremely bad that this idol oversees our nation! She is

I would not doubt that the colors could (in addition) represent the two dominant
political parties, but this is really not necessary for the overall understanding of the
Revelation verses, as the American flag is known around the world. As is the Statue of
Liberty. That said, God does often confirm and double-confirm and, I would venture
to guess, that from Gods viewpoint these two parties are simply two sides of the same
Harlot coin.
As I mentioned in the footnote of my article, I was an extremely patriotic American who
truly loved his country. I still love our Christian origin and what God intended for us to
become . . . if not for the seed of the occult at our birth . . . well, you are right, the
Constitution and original framing of the nation was overseen by God, but from well
before 7/4/1776 there has been Masonic infiltration. Therefore, the end result (soon-
approaching total destruction) is inevitable.
Erin, you are obviously very sharp and spiritually discerning. As you dive into the Word
with an open heart and mind, He will begin to reveal more and more to you. I would
recommend that you slowly and purposely re-read Revelation 14, 17 and 18; Isaiah 13,
14, and 47; and Jeremiah 50 and 51 (as a start). Whenever I do this, which is often, I can
clearly see the Statue of Liberty in the spiritual.

I enjoyed this post when I first read it, but thought again of it when I was folding up a
heap of raggedy clothing. Amongst the pile was a shirt with the name brand Faded
Glory, and another was a shirt that was once a field of flag-blue (Old-Glory blue) strewn
with stars, but since it had set in the strong sun, it had faded to purple: in all the areas
exposed it was purple, but where it was folded over it was bluer. Blue is a dye color that
fades easily, it is called a fugitive color and since the blue is associated with the throne of
God, it made me think justice has flown awayrags and faded glory. Just processing

I have recently come to the same conclusion. The Lord has just shown me this week this
very thing. I googled mystery Babylon the great is wearing the US flag and found this
page. Great study. I do have one issue! Mystery Babylon can be no other than Jerusalem.
Or as you have stated better the nation Israel. Matthew 23 and Rev. do not leave any
debate about this. However She is clothed in old Glory. And so it is, we are Israels

Thanks so much for your kind comment. You have an interesting take, for sure, about
Mystery Babylon being Jerusalem. But I hope to convince you that she is none other
than the USA for, we know from Revelation, that the woman is the great city/nation.
Please read my post entitled MYSTERY BABYLON Revealed in which I discuss the
Greek word musterion as meaning sacred secret which only the followers of Jesus
Christ can know! Also, I have several additional posts on this blog about this topic,
including Babylon, Babylon . . ..
I really appreciate your comment on what I believe to represent perhaps my most
important study to date. At least it should clear up the confusion about Babylon being
the Roman Catholic Church/Rome/Vatican! I would certainly like to hear more from

Sorry for the long delay. I didnt know how wordpress worked and just have seen the
reply. LOL. Revelation leaves no doubt she is Jerusalem physically. Although spiritually
she represents all false religion. She is called mystery Babylon the Great bacasue she will
partake in THE false religion. Mother of whores because she will whore herself out to
THE antichrist! According to Paul satan will be sitting in the temple showing himself
that he is God! Satan will rule from Jerusalem. This proves the point I am making. Also
on an unparallelled effort she will cause the world to worship the beast. Remember
spiritually she is also false religion. Which I think this is why in Rev 17:16 God puts it in
their hearts to destroy the woman. This puts and end to her reign and they give their
power to the beast. In other words it brings about the beast one world religion. Also
notice in Rev 21:10 New Jerusalem is called That great City! This is very interesting
when you take it all into account. God calls Jerusalem of today the mother of whores
because she betrays him! Further more to make this to be any other entity other than
Jerusalem you would have to completely ignore Rev 11:8 which shouldnt leave any

No worries, I dont have WordPress figured out either! Well, you seem absolutely
convinced already about Jerusalem and I know America to be Babylon, so I guess were
just going to disagree. I must be obedient and reach as many people, primarily American
Christians, as I possibly can with this sobering news. For time is short for all the
inhabitants of earth, but primarily those of America which falls on the Day of the Lord.
For the record, I am not one of those evangelicals who believe that the government of
Israel can do no wrong. They can potentially do much wrong, and there is an Illuminati
component within which is greatly troubling to me, and I can actually see it through my
spiritual eyes. That said, we must stand behind Israel (the country) as well as the
spiritual Israel which is the True Church worldwide. After all, we in the True Church
must set our eyes to Zion. The Promised Land is for the Jews and the True Church, and
although it is primarily spiritual perhaps, it is also physical. God has defined the borders
very precisely in the Holy Bible, and the New Jerusalem will also be laid out just as
Written.

Greetings Carlos, Very interesting information about the dyes and what the colors
referred to in the Bible actually mean. I for one had no idea.
I remember about 5 years ago when I woke up to the fact that the country I love was not
what I had believed it was. I was beyond saddened and horrified that I had so strongly
believed differently. Indeed we are Babylon and how I wish it were not so but it is.
On a side note, I am STILL not receiving your new postings.

Thank-you for your comment and, yes, I can relate entirely. In my case, I began to wake
up about 4 years ago; specifically around early October of 2008. Though it was a process
there was also a particular moment when it (the fact that America is Babylon) hit me
will full force through the Holy Spirit and I was shaken to the core.

I just decided to read the book of revelations today and during my cause of reading ,the
description of the woman struck me as America take for instance REV 17:18 And the
woman whom you saw is the great city which REIGNS over the kings of the earth .
America has been known for wanting to involve itself in the affairs of all countries, I
decided to google the colours to satisfy my curiousity and lo I have a great analysis
before me here that is just a perfect match it has also been said that president obama
wants to insert a chip on the right hand or foreheads of Americans this is a clear
description made in the book of Revelations of the number 666 . It was also written that
this great city that has exalted itself above nations shall burn down and be put to shame.
I bless God for opening my eyes to this .

Praise God indeed for opening your eyes to this! This is so very important that it cannot
be overemphasized, especially for Americans but Christians everywhere need to know
the truth about end times Babylon.
The Health Care chip mandate rumors seem to be legitimate, and we do know from
the Bible that it is America and her king (or, at least, the technology and implementation
plans of the nation) who begin this marking process of the peoples of the world. The
idea is birthed in the USA.
