American Association of Adjunct Education
2014 Call for Proposals
Date: November 1, 2014
Location: Lone Star Conference Center, 5000 Research Forest Dr., The Woodlands, Texas

The American Association of Adjunct Education (AAAE) will be hosting a conference in November
2014 and is currently accepting proposals for breakout sessions and roundtables. Proposals that relate
to teaching and learning will be reviewed. Abstracts should not exceed (2) pages double spaced. The
abstracts should include the key contacts name, address, institution/organization, e-mail address,
and phone number. Please indicate whether your proposal is a breakout session or a roundtable.

Breakout Sessions Lasting sixty minutes including a question and answer period, the breakout ses-
sions will provide a grand opportunity for presenters and participants to interact and learn.

Roundtables / Lightning Rounds These informal Q&A sessions are an opportunity to discuss teach-
ing and learning. After 15 minutes participants will move to another roundtable to begin another dis-
cussion.

Adjunct of the Year Award
AAAE is accepting nominations for the 2014 Adjunct of the Year award for outstanding service to
the college, university and / or community. Outstanding service may include but is not limited to
teaching, mentoring, publishing, service projects, programs, etc. Nominations may be made by the
individuals dean, department head or a colleague. Please include the nominees contact information.

The deadline to submit a proposal and / or a nomination for adjunct of the year is:
Monday, September 1, 2014.
All presenters and nominees are required to register for the conference.
