We often take the time to state the issues we encounter in our day, but
seldom do we take the time to acknowledge the good. On Monday I had to
call up to the 12th floor regarding a patient that was to be admitted there.
I asked for the nurse and was directed to Caitlyn Kowalski. Caitlyn received
my phone call with, "I have looked over the chart and have a few
questions." This was amazing. I answered her questions and she said,
"Room is clean, you can send her up." I know that this is how it should be
but unfortunately know that it doesn't happen often, so I would like for
Caitlyn's manager to know that she is doing a great job and I appreciated
her hard work.

Hi!
Know evals are probably over for the charge nurses on 12 but Caitlin floated to us
today and was AMAZING. She is clinically excellent as you know but what really
impressed me the most is her service excellence to her pts. She had a particularly
challenging situation with a pt and handled it with compassion and skill and was
wonderful with the pt, and family as well as the urology team.

WONDERFUL working with her!
