HOMEWORK
In order to receive full credit, your homework must be absolutely complete by the sound of the bell.

LATE WORK
Upon return from an excused absence, it is YOUR responsibility to check for missing assignments. I
keep an Absence Binder that you must check immediately upon return to copy missed warm-ups,
notes, and homework. You will have the same amount of days absent to make up the work.
Otherwise, I will NOT accept late work! Too many absences will result in a drop of your overall
grade. Do invest in a small planner or agenda to keep your life organized and sane.

CHEATING / PLAGIARISM
Willow Glen High School 2001 Cottle Ave, San Jose, CA, 95123 3
Any form of plagiarism will not be tolerated. This may come in the form of copying another students
work, allowing a student to copy your work, using entire sentences or phrases from online translators
in your work, etc. Students who participate in cheating will receive zero credit on the assignment.

RULES AND PROCEDURES

1. WGHS TARDY POLICY: You must be in the classroom, seated in your assigned seat at the sound of
the bell. Otherwise, you are Tardy, locked out of the classroom and must report to the cafeteria. You
will not be allowed back to the classroom that day.

2. FOOD/BEVERAGES: To avoid vermin and insect infestation, I ask that you please not eat in the
classroom. This is a professional environment and should be treated as such. Water is acceptable.

3. ELECTRONIC DEVICES: Turn off all cell phones, iPods, and other electronic devices before
entering the classroom. I grant you one warning before taking the device.
First offense: Returned to you at the end of the day
Further offenses: I will speak with your parent/guardian to discuss the matter and decide when the
confiscated item will be returned to you.

4. BATHROOM: I will grant you two passes per semester. These passes allow you to go to the
bathroom, nurse, or office(s). Any additional passes I write will result in a 5 min. meeting after school
to make up the lost time. This is also the case with lost passes. Passes turned in at the end of the
semester will grant you extra credit on the Final Exam.

5. RESPECT: Please respect your surroundings, your classmates, and your teacher. Practice the use of
appropriate, academic language, and your Spanish! I work hard to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe
environment for you and expect you to treat my classroom with great care.

CONSEQUENCES
1. One verbal warning.
2. Detention, phone call home, referral to AP of Discipline (or a combination of all three)
