Assistant Biiectoi- is the chief assistant of the
1st AB anu helps caiiy out those tasks uelegateu
to the 1st AB.

Casting Director-he person responsible for
assigning roles in a movie, play, or other
production.

Script supervisor- is a member of a film
crew responsible for maintaining the motion
picture's internal continuity and for recording the
production unit's daily progress in shooting the
film's screenplay.


Director of Photography- Working with the
Director, camera crew and lighting department to
achieve this



Camera Operator/Videographer- is a
professional operator of a film or video camera.


1st Assistant Camera/1st AC- are responsible for
focusing and refocusing the camera lens as
actors move within the frame of each shot, but
they do not look though the lens to do this; they
pull focus according to a set of complex marks
(which are placed on the set, on the floor, on
props, etc., during the director's on set
rehearsal time with the cast), and by using their
instincts and experience of judging focal
lengths.


2nd Assistant Camera/Clapper/Loader -is part of a
film crew whose main functions are that of
loading the raw film stock into camera
magazines, operating the clapperboard (slate)
at the beginning of each take, marking the
actors as necessary, and maintaining all records
and paperwork for the camera


Sound Mixer -balances all of the sounds
prepared by the dialogue, music and effects
editors, and finalizes the films audio track.


Boom Operator -is an assistant to the Production
Sound Mixer, responsible for microphone
placement and movement during filming.


Production Designer- is the person responsible for
the overall look of a filmed event such as films,
TV programs, viueo, music videos or adverts.


Art Director-more directly oversees artists and
craftspeople, such as the Set Designers,
Graphic Artists, and Illustrators who give form to
the production design as it develops.


Set Dresser- apply and remove the "dressing",
i.e., furniture, drapery, carpets, wall signs, vinyl
decalseverything one would find in a location,
(even doorknobs and wall sockets, when such
items do not fall under the purview of
Construction.)


Props Master- is in charge of finding and
managing all the props that appear in the film.


Gaffer-is the head of the Lighting Department,
responsible for the design of the lighting plan for
a production. Sometimes the Gaffer is credited
as Chief Lighting Technician.


Best Boy Electrician- is the chief assistant to the
Gaffer. He or she is not usually on set, but
dealing with the electric truck, rentals,
manpower, and other logistics.


Key Grip-is the chief Grip on a set, and is the
head of the Set Operations Department.


Dolly Grip-in charge of operating the camera
dollies and camera cranes is called the Dolly
Grip.


Special Effects Artist- instructs the Special
effects crew on how to design moving set
elements and props that will safely break,
explode, burn, collapse and implode without
destroying the film set.


Visual Effects Artist- they are the people that make
the visual effects.

Editor- he edits the movie or film.

Production Manager-supervises the physical
aspects of the production (not the creative
aspects) including personnel, technology,
budget, and scheduling.


Sound Recordist- he records the sound and make sure
that they are ok.


Make-up/Costumes-work with makeup, hair and
special effects to create the characters look for
anyone appearing on screen.
