The title should match the title that you plan to use for your project display on the
day you present your science fair project.
Your name(s) should be included on each page. (this can be done with either a
header or footer)
Must be typed in 12 point font.
The problem or question that you plan to answer through your experiment is
described.
The description must include specific details.
The goals, expected outcomes or hypothesis for your problem or question should be
described.

The step by step procedure that you will follow during experimentation.
All steps of the experiment must be described in absolute detail. This means that
during the experiment you will do exactly what you write in as procedures, nothing
more.
Use a numbered list to show steps of your procedure.
Describe the procedures you will use to analyze the data that answer the research
question or hypothesis. This basically means how you will use the data collected to
either answer your question, or evaluate your goals, expected outcomes or
hypothesis.
The description must include specific details.
The bibliography must include a minimum of 5 major references.
One of these must be a book. The other 4 can be from a journal, magazine,
newspaper or website.
All references must be cited in APA format.
If you have a topic that includes one of the following there are specific additional
items that must be described: Human Participants, Vertebrate Animals, Potentially
Hazardous Biological Agents and Hazardous Chemicals.
