**Remember you should also be studying for level-up quizzes! The goal is to pass one daily.

Textbook Reading & Notes
For the first two weeks, I would like you to use the SQ3R format for notes. After this point, as long as
you are doing well in the class, you may take notes in whatever format you prefer when reading. I will
typically not be reviewing your notes unless I find that you need this accountability. Like in college, I
expect you are doing the work independently. I will know if you are doing your reading based on your
quiz and test scores. If you want suggestions about how to improve your textbook reading and
notetaking skills, I am happy to support you.

Signing Up for Myers Online Resource
1. If the link in the syllabus does not work, Google Myers Psychology for AP and the first link
should take you to the site.
2. Create a log in with an e-mail address and password. All students have a KIPP e-mail account,
and I expect you to use this for all class correspondence, including this website.
3. Each chapter has a plus sign. Under chapter 1 there are three quizzes. You will take:
a. Unit 1 Quiz 1 (9 MC questions)
b. Unit 1 Quiz 2 (9 MC questions)
c. PsycSim 5 Online Quiz: Psychologys Timeline (5 MC Questions)
4. Be sure to submit to your instructor. Use the e-mail address alicia.greenwald@gmail.com. DO
NOT use my KIPP address I will not get your results.
5. You may use your book and notes to help you but you may NOT use other people. I will
consider that cheating.
6. You can re-take and re-submit your quiz as many times as you would like until you earn 100%.
7. These quizzes will prepare you for the Exit Tickets in class!
