Assessment:
Were all children able to locate information in a text to substantiate an answer using full sentence structures? I will find this out by asking the children a serious of questions after they have read the text.
Reflection/Evaluation I was really excited that the children had curiosities that they wrote down in regards to the text that they were reading that was not relevant to the task that was assigned. The timing of the activity was over by roughly 10 minutes. Had I written times into the first draft of the lesson plan I would have had a better overview of this. What I wasnt expecting was the difficulty some students had with reading the text and manipulating the pipe cleaners. I felt this was what contributed to the lesson going overtime. My Lesson could have been even better if we could have researched the questions the students had at that time that I was unable to answer.
