A Parent Development Seminar







It is the desire of parents to protect their children, steer them away from unpleasant experiences, and
prepare them for success. However, our best intentions may unintentionally promote undesirable
outcomes. Grounded on psychological theories and research on development, this talk will touch on
harnessing strengths, building resilience, thinking and following through what is best for our kids, even if
it means allowing our children to experience difficulties and failures. This talk is for all parents, especially
those with pre-teens and teenagers. Come with your friends and family for an interesting talk with Dr.
