Please respond to the following prompts: 1. Summarize the key points you learned from this Professional Development experience. The present believes that Social Studies and Science are content based while Math and Reading are skill based. Reading and Math can be integrated into any Social Studies or Science lesson. Break down CSOs in terms that students will understand Many technology components, such as Dropbox and Prezi. Whole-brain teaching/learning techniques
2. Discuss how these key points connect to your content area. Select desired Social Studies and Science CSOs and then integrate reading and math activities into them. This will eliminate it from being left out of the classroom. If they are taught through integrated instruction, there is no need to leave them out of the classroom and lessons.
3. Share how you might use this new information in your future classroom. I will use the information learned to carefully plan units of social studies and science units for my classroom. I will also break down CSOs for my students to see and understand. I think this is helpful for them to know exactly what is expected for them to learn.
