Q:- How to get paddy for Custom Milling from Food and Supplies
Department, Haryana.

Ans:- A miller become eligible for custom milling of departments paddy by
formally registering himself with the Department.


Q:- What is the amount of security and advance cheques required to be
given against paddy.

Ans:- (a) Rs. 2,00,000 for one MT Capacity and Rs. 1,00,000 for
additional one tonne Capacity is to be deposited in the shape of FDR
with concerned DFSC.

(b) Guarantee is taken in the shape of signed cheque/cheques drawn
in favour of the DFSC@ Rs. 25 Lakh for each tonne milling capacity
from the miller. Besides, the miller also provides two third party
sureties of Arthias of the same mandi/purchase centre having
reliability and good reputation from where the paddy is to be provided
to the miller.

Q:- How much paddy can be allotted to a mill.

Ans:- Paddy is allotted to a mill as per its milling capacity.
Mills having capacity upto 1MT/hour =2000MT
Mills having capacity upto 2MT/hour =3000MT
Mills having capacity upto 3MT/hour =4000MT
Mills having capacity upto 4MT/hour =5000MT

Q:- What is the time period for milling of paddy/delivery schedule of
CMR.

Ans:- It is as under:-

October & Nov = 20% of the allotted paddy
December, 2008 = 25% -do-
January, 2009 = 25% -do-
February, 2009 = 15% -do-
March,2009 = 15% -do-
